A simple program that takes one paramater: an executabe, an application-associated document, or a url. If a document or url is specified, the appropriate/associated program launches for it. I wrote this because I needed a the ability to translate environment variables (like %USERPROFILE%) and be able to open documents automatically with theproper application. For example, there is a program I use at work where I can create links to, or remotely run applications. But sometimes people have non-usual program paths, or a known application has a different path depending on the version. Launching via shellexecute resolves this for me, with this little applet in a shared network location I could ensure that everyone was able to open a particular document via the link in the aformentioned program..
